We could never save ourselves
We were hopeless in our sin
But now we know that we can cry for help
And find a better way in Him

He looks at us and sees a people made clean
Our flesh is crucified. The Spirit gives us life
As Jesus teaches us His truth the Spirit grows in us His fruit

Faith works in love.
We will obey, walk in His ways
All by His grace
His promise says
This righteousness that we possess
Is from faith to faith

We know the just shall live by faith
We can live holy lives in Him
If we acknowledge Him in all our ways
And to His presence enter in
